FAQs
I've never done yoga before.
Yoga is a practice that connects the body, breath, and mind. Using physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation to improve overall health. Creating a union of the body, mind, soul, and universal conscious awareness.
The most common myth about yoga is that you have to be flexible; It's about building strength, stability, and, yes, flexibility over time. Classes are for everybody and all fitness levels. The goal is to honour yourself and your body as it is today.
What should I wear to a yoga class?
Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows you to move freely. Stretchy leggings, shorts, or tracksuit bottoms with a t-shirt or tank top are perfect. Yoga practice is in bare feet, so no special footwear is needed.
Should I eat before class?
It's better to practice on an empty stomach. Avoid a heavy meal 2-3 hours before class. A snack, like a piece of fruit or a handful of nuts, is ok.

Your own yoga mat (we have a few spares to help you get started)
